EncrypTool. What is it?
Encryptool is an online tool, who's sole purpose is to give a visual embodyment for encryption. It allows us to see what makes an encryption strong and the speed at which they're done.
Why is it important?
In our current society, technology is everywhere. Our lives are documented on the internet, from the messages we share with friends and family, to the accounts we post ourselves on. Encryption allows us to keep these safe from prying eyes on the internet who may be intending to do harm, by hashing passwords so accounts are kept safe, and encrypting messages so they can't be intercepted and read.
